By Margaret Page, AESA Researcher
What an amazing year 2017 has been. As more Australians and New Zealanders embrace energy storage solutions, we see a direct correlation in the number of new and emerging commercial-scale energy storage systems showing on the Australian Energy Storage Database (AESDB).
As Researcher for the Australian Energy Storage Alliance, sometimes people ask me why should they (companies) list their projects on the AESDB? One important reason is that the AESDB showcases the potential of commercial energy storage in Australia, and the information resource is expected to be useful for researchers, policy makers, planners and developers, with this service provided at no charge.
If you have a commercial or utility level energy storage project that is under construction or operational, consider listing this on the AESDB and your entry may be added at this link is available at:
- Follow link, select New Project and Register. We have found Chrome or Firefox browsers work best. Once registered, you may update the project details as its status or information changes.
- Include two project web links in field ‘Project Description’. For example, a company press release or published article will assist the third party validation process.
- Once submitted, please email a note back to me, advising the project name and date submitted.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries and may I take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas!
