Australian Energy Storage Alliance (AESA) is an information hub for the energy storage industry, sharing news, developments, case studies and deployment ready energy storage solutions through monthly e-newsletters and sponsored networking events.

AESA was founded in 2014 with the mission of advancing the role of safe, clean and cost-effective energy storage in Australia and New Zealand.  Our volunteer Steering Committee guides AESA’s direction including its biggest project –  Australian Energy Storage Database.

Participation is available at three levels: subscriber, contributor and supporter. Each of these are FREE to join subject to our terms and conditions. More details below.

Our flagship event, Australian Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition is Australia’s dedicated energy storage event and is held annually in Sydney and attracts thousands of industry delegates from Australia and overseas.  It’s where the industry’s decision makers come to see, connect and gain a perspective on the industry that drives innovation.

Australian Energy Storage Database (AESDB) provides and lists details of commercial and utility scale energy storage projects in Australia and New Zealand. This includes details such as technology, location, ownership, and status. Access the database portal here.

The database is designed for use by investors, developers, planners, policy makers, researchers and the commercial industry.

Project managers of commercial and utility scale energy storage projects in Australia and New Zealand are able to provide details to list new and under-construction projects. This can be done online here.  Once listed, projects will be freely available via the Australian portal and on the Global Energy Storage Database. More information on AESDB is available here.

The Australian Energy Storage Alliance shares information provided by a variety of sources.
